Hey guys, now it's time for a new update. Wonder where else to take your date or your friend or maybe your family out for lunch or dinner. Now here is a place for you to enjoy your meal, Stan & Brew Roast Coffee in Ipoh. But wait, you see the name of the cafe... the word roast coffee... well it's not all about coffee, but they do have fabulous food that they serve as well. Well I'm all about the food and not the coffee =D 

The outside of the cafe that already seems so classy and serves a very appetizing food by just looking at it.. do you think so?! This cafe is also very easy to be found cause it is situated at the corner, a very attractive place for everyone not to notice this place. 


And now the interior... I love the doodle on the wall cause it was the first thing that actually caught my attention when I came in by the entrance. All the chairs were tied up with a pink cloth with a ribbon.. LOL I felt so girly when I walked in here.

On the right side of the cafe is the counter, desserts on display and the coffee maker at the end. Please ignore the employee.. I don't mean to capture you in the picture =D The brick wall reminds me of the buildings in England.

And of course macaroons. All the colorful macaroons that snatched my attention away from the cakes. They also provide many different flavors as well. But then I didn't try their desserts. So ya too bad... I came here for the food. Maybe one day I'll come back for the desserts and their food. 


So I only tried out 2 types of dishes
This dish is called the Dark Devil, but it doesn't seems so evil to me LOL just joking. So yeah, they are homemade charcoal burger buns with 2 roasted turkey patties, 2 fried eggs and caramelized pineapple ring in between. Served with crispy delicious onion rings on the side. The burger has a little hot sauce to it, to add some taste to the turkey patties and the eggs helps to make the patties a little moist, as we all know turkey meat may taste dry and flat. And so this dish cost RM 18.80 and it is a very big portion indeed. If you compare to this to the picture in the menu, it actually looks the same.


The second dish, is Bubbles "Salmon". A medium cooked salmon fillet serve with seafood couscous, refreshing salsa and peach foam. The salmon is pan seared to have a nice crisp on to the salmon skin, to give it some texture and the foam is a little tangy, makes the salmon to taste fresh and helps to bring out more flavor of the fish. At the bottom of the salmon fish is the seafood couscous. The couscous is actually granules of durum wheat which is cooked by steaming it. The texture of the couscous is like rice but in a very fine way. Now this cost at RM 29.80, yup it's a little pricey I can say but it's worth to taste the couscous and the foam together with the salmon. And this dish is new in their menu as well.

Well if you think that it is too pricey for you, they also actually serve SET LUNCH only on weekdays excluding weekends and public holidays.

Fish & Chips RM 8.80
Pasta RM 7.80

Served with lemon tea and a Haagen-Dazs ice-cream. Now does this sound better?
Last but not least, they also have a 20% discount on all beverages only at 10.30pm till 11.30pm.

Waddap FOOD LOVERS !!!! Last week my besties called me out for an outing a day before, so I thought of bring them to Petit Mary to try their food, since I heard many great comments about the food and one of my friend wanted to try it out too. Bonjour! Hello fellow readers, a couple of days ago I found this cafe which is so different compared to other cafes, so why not pay a visit and try out something different. This cafe has a forest themed to it, bring a relax and cozy feeling. Since the weather is quite sunny and hot, this cafe can be a place for a hideout. It took me sometime to find this place and it is cluttered with plants everywhere. So this will be the entrance.
